Biography

Xiao Kaiyan graduated with a doctorate in plastic surgery from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 2004 and has been engaged in the plastic surgery field for 18 years to date. A member of the Communist Party of China, he received the 2016 Outstanding Employee Award from the Pudong Branch of Ninth People's Hospital. He focuses on the treatment and enhancement of oculoplastic surgery, rhinoplasty, and facial rejuvenation. He has years of clinical experience in expander treatment for hypertrophic scars and in the treatment of superficial tumors. He has published seven clinical SCI articles and three articles in Chinese core journals. He has received one research project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (completed) and one project from the Shanghai Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission (completed). I am willing to serve patients wholeheartedly with all the professional knowledge I have acquired throughout my life.
